John is the Managing Director of JC Consulting, Independent Consultant and trainer for varies international organisation and SQDC Business School. He is a competent and experienced Program, Project and Risk Manager, with over 15 years’ experience in managing multi-disciplinary project teams of varying sizes and complex programs. Especially successful in management roles that demand rigor, a high level of drive, dedication and a focus on delivering business outcomes through the use of Industry Best Practices.
A Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Risk Management Professional (RMP) and Program Manager and PMI Lecturer with extensive Best Practices experience in all aspects of the Program/Project lifecycle. His expertise includes Cost and Resource Management, Estimating and Financial Forecasting, Risk Mitigation, Conflict Management.
John is instrumental in the establishment of robust project controls and the highlight of his career has been managing multi-billion Rand programs, Anglo American Thermal Coal’s Elders Project, Datacentrix Soccer World Cup Project, and other related PMO programs.
John’s passion is lecturing Project and Risk Management and has delivered hundreds of Project Management Professionals (PMP), Certified Associates in Project Management (CAPM) and Risk Management Professionals (PMI-RMP) throughout South Africa.
John is one of 32 Risk Management Professionals in South Africa Certified by PMI
